Landscaping by J. Michael is hiring an Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. The right person will bring strong irrigation knowledge, a problem-solving mindset, and a genuine passion for the green industry.

What You’ll Do

• Install irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties

• Perform seasonal spring start-ups and fall winterizations/shutdowns

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair existing irrigation systems

• Repair and maintain irrigation components, including lines, sprinkler heads, valves, pumps, and control panels

• Read irrigation plans, layouts, and technical drawings

• Set up job sites, order materials, and keep projects moving efficiently

• Complete required paperwork and administrative tasks accurately

• Operate company equipment such as trenchers, pullers, trucks, tampers, and related tools

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of hands-on irrigation experience

• Strong working knowledge of irrigation installation, service, and repair

• Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and technical documents

• Comfortable operating equipment and working in the field daily

• Organized and able to manage materials, job site layout, and reporting requirements

• Professional, respectful, and team-oriented

• CIT certification preferred

• Valid driver’s license required

• DOT card required
